Heath And Safety

We are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all of our members, particularly our younger members.

To facilitate this, we have qualified and registered first aid staff in attendance at all club activities and weekly meets. All of our committee members consent to being screened by the Criminal Records Bureau, in order that parents can be safe in the knowledge that their child is being left with appropriate adult staff.

We have full insurance to cover almost all eventualities, both on and off site, including cover when travelling to and from organised events.

Regular evacuation drills take place, so that we are prepared and trained to deal with any situation where we may have to evacuate the premises.

We are also seeking to register as a charity, if this is accepted we will hopefully receive grants etc, to further enhance the enjoyment and experience of our members.

One final note, all profit made by the club goes back into the club. Our staff are volunteers, they are not paid for their time. Club funds are used to provide new materials and pay for outings etc for the club.
